HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR (Part 3)
“Thumbs up for new bus terminal: The latest bus terminal in town has captivated travellers, especially those joining the balik kampung exodus for the Chinese New Year holidays. The Bandar Tasik Selatan Integrated Transportation Terminal (ITT) was a scene of happy faces yesterday as many headed south for the long weekend.”
When reading the above article in NST, I remember my trip to China recently. During the trip Mr C was so stressed because it seemed that some people urged the government to postpone the opening of the above said terminal. But Mr C was so adamant to ensure that the terminal to be opened on 1st January, and as a result, our Chinese friends are now enjoying the facility during this joyous festival. Of course, there are still some improvement need to be made, but the decision to open it before CNY was most welcome. Thumbs up Sir!
“MCA leaders to the forefront :The just-concluded Tenang by-election served as a test of sorts – if not a blessing in disguise – for MCA in getting back the Chinese support for Barisan Nasional and consolidating unity in the party.”
Meanwhile, after reading the Star, the above article really made me wandering that everybody is definitely entitled to their own opinion. MCA and DAP are fighting over Chinese votes, and “who is the winner?” as what my son always ask me, is depending totally on the strength of BN or PR. In other words, is not MCA or DAP per se who determine whether the rakyat will support either BN or PR, but the total contribution of all party component parties in each movement would eventually influence the rakyat as who would be in charge of Putrajaya. In conclusion, between a statistic and result, I definitely prefer the result!.
